Mill cottage, being attached to our home known as Iron Mills, was formerly a working Mill. The cottage, which is the original building, dates back to the 17th century and still retains a rotating mill wheel. Accommodation is on three floors and has two double bedrooms, with a double bed plus one single bed in each; there is also room for a cot. The oak-beamed cosy lounge/diner is equipped with a double sofa, TV, Freeview, DVD ,CD player, coffee table, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils, electric cooker, microwave oven, and fridge/freezer. Newly refurbished bathroom with WC, wash basin, and double shower. The cottage also has central heating throughout. Wi Fi access.

The cottage has a small south facing private garden for you to use, along with garden furniture and BBQ on request. There is also a drying area with clothes line. Parking for up to 2 cars.

The river Caen meanders through Braunton village, and also runs through our garden and out into the Taw & Torridge estuary. There are indigineous brown trout and a run of sea trout. We operate a catch and release policy, using barbless hooks. Rod licence required.

We are situated in the older part of the village which has retained much of its original charm and just across the river is the beautiful 13th Century church of St.Brannock. Just a five-minute walk into the village centre, you will find a variety of pubs, restaurants, cafes and surf shops.
