Walking - South west coastal path or the Tarka Trail, plus rural footpaths and Exmoor & Dartmoor within easy reach
Cycling: We have storage for cycles or Otter Cycle Hire in Braunton village. The Tarka Trail Cycle way runs for approx 36 miles.
Beaches - the area is renowned for its sandy beaches which are a magnet for wind surfers, surfers, body boarders and sail boarding. Croyde and Saunton beaches have surf schools where expert tuition is available
Horse Riding - Roylands riding school in Croyde and Mullacott stables Ilfracombe
Golf - At least 9 clubs within a 30 mile radius (some may require handicap certificate and your home members club card, others are pay and play)
Fishing - Mill cottage enjoys its own stretch of the river Caen which contains mainly brown trout plus a run of sea trout. Beach casting, tidal river estuaries, stocked coarse and game still waters are nearby.
Shopping - Barnstaple Pannier market and town centre.
